Transitional Pastor
Rev. Dr. Diane Knauf is an experienced pastor who is intrigued by the ways in which the Holy Spirit is always doing something new in and through the church. Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:38-39, a reminder that nothing can separate us from the love of God through Jesus Christ. Diane is a transplanted northerner, having grown up in Rochester NY and most recently served churches on Hilton Head Island and in Raleigh, NC. She and her husband Drew live in Bluffton, SC, and enjoy exploring the beauty of the lowcountry and the Savannah area. They have two adult sons and a spoiled pup. Vilma Cooper is the friendly face you will encounter at the church office; the cheerful voice who answers the phone; and so much more! Vilma performs a variety of tasks with excellence and in a spirit of joyful service to the Lord. She produces the weekly worship bulletin, our monthly newsletter, oversees communications, and will help you reserve space at the church. She is delighted to answer questions about the life of RHPC. Normal Royals is a consistent and beloved presence in the chancel, leading our choir and all things related to music. Her joy in the Lord is evident in all that she does! The choir is a covenant group who not only makes a joyful noise to the Lord but cares for one another. We are always welcoming in new choir members.
